Where to start?

Odds are we have wished most of you a happy new year already, but better be safe than sorry, so here it comes: a very late, and no less cordial, Happy New Year from us to you!
As you all know, we spent New Year's Eve in London accompanied by three lovely ladies. London - what can we say? And again - where to start?
We worshipped the snow queen...
...saw people queue up for hours outside an Abercrombie shop...
We had a legen...
...dary time dancing next to the river Thames with Jo and Marlen,
saw the most amazing fireworks of our lives...
....were threatened by superheroes...
...and saved by uniformed and ununiformed police forces with laser swords.
Back in Sheffield, we saw snow in Britain...
...partied...
...got engaged in the preservation of public peace...
...made friends with local air guitar artists...
...as well as local vokuhila superstars.
We fell asleep in the library after a night out...
...and in love with this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDY2I5pni90).
We watched our friend Nils from as outlandish a place as Eastern Germany transform into a player from outer space...
...and are now making the most of our final days in a city that has in the last couple of months become a home to us.
Farewell on Sun 7th Feb doesn't look set to be easy. They say home is where the heart is, and a piece of our hearts shall be from now on in Britain.
On the credit side, we are taking home with us an abundance of fabulous memories and also new friendships, and we'll be coming home to the greatest friends we could wish for. That's you guys, by the way:-P
